Click HERE to register by printing off the form and bringing it to opening day. The Challenge is a state-wide competition where contestants score points through penalty kicks. Points vary based on each player’s soccer shooting accuracy. Age group winners will have the opportunity to compete on a district, regional and state-wide level. Fusion U15 Girls Win Big at Gettysburg
Congratulations to Coach Pat Gill and the Fusion U15 Girls on their great performance at the Gettysburg Battlefield Blast Tournament this past weekend. The team was undefeated through all of the mini-games and qualifying games - and then went on to win the championship game 1-0. We wish them continued success in the fall season!
Candy Pick-Up
If you opted to participate in the candy fundraiser when you registered your child for the Fall/Spring and you have not yet picked up your box of candy, please stop in at the clubhouse at the Red Land Complex during regular office hours to do so. You may sell your candy for $1.00/bar to recoup your fundraiser costs, so stop in soon!
Recreational Program Registration Update
Recreational Program Registration is now CLOSED for the following age groups:
U6 (birthdates from 8/1/2004 to 7/31/2005)
U7 (birthdates from 8/1/2003 to 7/31/2004)
U8 (birthdates from 8/1/2002 to 7/31/2003)
U9 (birthdates from 8/1/2001 to 7/31/2002)
U10 (birthdates from 8/1/2000 to 7/31/2001)
If you are interested in registering your child for one of these age groups, please contact the office at info@fusionfcpa.org to be placed on a waiting list.
We do still have limited openings in the U5 age group. To register, visit the registration page.
Goalkeeper Clinic Offered
Fusion F.C. will be offering a Goalkeeper Clinic in September. Dates and times for the GK Clinic are:
September 2, 9, and 16:
U9-U11 - 5:30-6:30
U12+ - 6:30-7:30
September 23 and 30:
U9-U11 - 5:30-6:20

Knights of Columbus Soccer Shootout Competition to be held at Fusion F.C. in September
On September 11, Fusion F.C. will be hosting the Knights of Columbus Council 4068 of Camp Hill annual Soccer Challenge from 10am-2pm. The Challenge will be held on Field 7 at the Red Land Soccer Complex on Old Quaker Road and is open to all girls and boys ages 10-14.
Fall Office Hours
Beginning on August 17th, 2010, the Fusion FC office will be open from 5:30pm - 7:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights.
Fusion United Girls take second at Penn State
Congratulations to Coach McKay and the Fusion United girls for their 2nd place finish in the U17 bracket at the August Penn State 8v8 Tournament. What a great kick-off for their fall season!

Director of Coaching (DOC) Position
On Wednesday April 28, 2010, the Fusion FC board of directors named City Islander David Schofield as the club's Director of Coaching. David brings a vast knowledge of the game and many years of training coaches and children to Fusion FC.
More information will be posted on the website in the next few weeks about David and his new role with the club.
Red Land and West Shore merge to form Fusion F.C.
For the last several months a steering committee has been exploring the feasibility of merging the Red Land and West Shore Soccer Clubs. The steering committee was composed of members and counsel from both clubs who worked for hundreds of hours writing a merger agreement.
That agreement was approved on February 15, 2010, by the West Shore Soccer Club Board of Directors. On February 17, 2010, the membership of the Red Land Soccer Club also approved the merger agreement and club name change to Fusion F.C.
Shenck and Pushart then asked the members that were in attendance to nominate candidates that they would like to see serve on the new Fusion F.C. Board of Directors. Nine members were elected to the new board. Their names and positions are listed below.

Matt Neff – Treasurer

The board will immediately start working on issues important to all members to include, but not limited to, 2010 – 2011 registration, tryouts and placements, uniforms, coach and player training, and field usage. As decisions are made, updates will be posted on the Fusion F.C. website.
The Red Land and West Shore websites will provide a link to the Fusion F.C. website until those websites are removed from service.
