2012 FUSION TEAM SUCCESSES
Fusion U17 Boys Fire Win Big at Maryland Cup - Advance to Regionals
The U17B Fire, coached by Celso Torres, won the championship at the Maryland Cup in April, with an impressive 5-1 victory over the Baltimore S.C. Rapids. In the semifinals, the Fire topped Freestate Real with a solid 4-2 final score. The Fire now advances to US Club Soccer Regionals in July. Congratulations on the championship win and best of luck to the Fire boys and Coach Torres in July.

Fusion U11 Boys Galaxy Advance to EPYSA Turkey Hill Cup Finals!
The U11 Boys Galaxy, coached by Greg Alt, fought for a 2-1 victory in the semifinals in the first division in EPYSA Turkey Hill Challenge Cup play on May 5. They prevailed over the Methacton United SC Galaxy to advance them to the finals (scheduled for May 19). Congratulations to the Galaxy and Coach Alt - and good luck in the finals!
U11 Girls "Illusion"/Fury Take Second at Red Rose
Fusion's U11 Girls "Illusion"/Fury made it to the finals in the Red Rose Classic tournament on May 5 and 6 in Lancaster, PA. The girls did well in preliminary round play, winning matches 3-2, 5-1, and 4-1. Congratulations to the Illusion and Coach Mull!

Fusion Players Selected to ODP Program
Congratulations to Reed Bertram of the Fusion U13B Fire for being selected to the EPYSA 1999 ODP Team and to Gage Souder from the Fusion U11B Galaxy for his placement on the 2000 ODP Team. Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer's Olympic Development Program identifies elite players and provides supplemental training and competitive opportunities for players with the goal of advancement to US Youth Soccer Region 1 teams and ultimately, national team selections.

U11 Galaxy Win Big in March
Congratulations to Fusion's U11 Boys Galaxy, coached by Greg Alt, on their championship win in the Premier Division at the Penn Legacy Academy Cup Invitiational in March. The team went undefeated in the tournament battling HMMS Eagles (6-2), CAPA 2K United (5-1), and Penn Legacy Blk (5-3). The Galaxy went up against FC Revolution Rangers in the final winning 4-2.

2011 FUSION TEAM SUCCESSES
Fusion Player State Champion in Knights of Columbus Challenge!
Fusion was happy to once again have the local 4068 Knights of Columbus hold their Soccer Challenge at our Red Land Complex this past fall. U11 player Jacob Smith moved on to the regional and then state level of completition. His journey culminated in a win at the state championship for his age group at the 2011 Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge in State College. Congratulations to Jacob on a job well done!!
