When you run, there are certain mechanics you need to become a faster and more efficient runner. One is proper arm mechanics, making sure the hand moves from the hip pocket to the eye socket (as mentioned in the last Speed Corner).
TIP #2: The next thing to make you run faster is having the correct part of the foot contact the ground.
You will hear coaches say, "Stay on your toes," or "Run on your toes." That is NOT correct.
> You need to stay on the balls of your feet (the padded area under your toes).
> That is the area that will produce the greatest force and help you run faster.
> Learn how to stay on that part of the foot during your running especially during the acceleration phase and you
will become faster.
