Players within the U8 age division for the upcoming Soccer Season are also invited to participate in tryouts. Depending on the level of interest for this age group, which varies from year to year, the goal is to make a Travel team of all U8 players. This team would then participate in the CPYSL U9 age group, in the lower division. This allows the team to get a year of Travel under their belt before playing age/division appropriate the next soccer year. 

Players in this age division are also eligible to participate on a true U9 team depending on skill level.
