During the meeting tonight, the Fusion F.C. Board of Directors reviewed the EPYSA Restart 2020 Protocols and Guidelines for a Safe and Gradual Return to Play and discussed what this means for the summer practice season.

Starting June 18th, 2020, all Fusion F.C. fields will be reopened allowing our Travel teams to participate in summer practices. Please keep in mind that decision to hold practices during the summer is at the discretion of each coach. Any player or coach that plans on participating in summer practices is REQUIRED to sign the attached Waiver and Release of Liability form prior to any participation. These signed forms must be handed to your coaching staff for tracking purposes. No player may participate or be on a Fusion F.C. field without having a signed Waiver Form. Any player without a signed waiver will be asked to leave the field immediately.

While we are excited to get players back on the fields, the health and safety of our membership is our number one priority. With that being said, we are asking that parents review the EPYSA Restart 2020 Protocols and Guidelines for a Safe and Gradual Return to Play with players prior to attending your first practice session. All practices are voluntary, if you are not comfortable with your child participating please reach out to your coach directly. Please be sure to communicate any health concerns/medical issues your child may have in relation to the current COVID 19 crisis during this time.

Enforcing these guidelines will take an effort from every member of the Fusion F.C. organization. If you feel that these guidelines are not being followed during your child’s practices, please either reach out to your coaching staff or your appropriate VP of Travel.

The above-mentioned guidelines and corresponding waiver are at this point for the Summer season only and will last until July 31st. Updated guidelines and any additional waivers will be disseminated as they become available.
