We are so pleased to once again have the Knights of Columbus coming to our complex Saturday, September 17, for Fusion players to compete in the Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge!

EVENT DETAILS

The Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge is a competition designed for players to demonstrate the most basic soccer skill – the penalty kick - and is open to all boys and girls in the community, ages 9-14.  This event is open to recreational and travel players who are in this age range.  Each player will be allowed 15 shots at the goal from the penalty mark.  Winners progress to the district, and then potentially to regional, state and international levels. In recent years, several of Fusion's boys travel soccer players advanced to state competition.  In 2014, a U15 Fusion player won the state competition for his age group.  Last year, a sibling of one of our Fusion players (and a former Fusion player) won the international competition at this age level!

Join us for this year's Soccer Challenge this Saturday, September 17, at our main complex from 8:00am until 12:00pm.  The Challenge will be held on Field #7, the lower field at the rear of the complex (same location as photos).  There will be forms at the challenge station for you to sign up or you can download the form below and complete ahead of time to eliminate the need to complete it at the event and just head directly to the field.

For more information, contact K of C representative Al DiAngelo at (717) 303-1934 or contact the Fusion office.

It's free and it's fun, so come out and give it a try!
